Media Library

The Media Library is the single place where every image you upload lives. Assets uploaded here are available to any field, block, or page in your websites, and each one is served from the CDN.

Open it from the admin sidebar under Media, or go to /admin/<websiteId>/media.

Upload assets

Click Upload new asset in the header (or the button in the empty state) to open the Upload Media dialog.

1. Drag files onto the drop zone, or click it to pick files.
2. Review the staged list — each row shows the file type, dimensions, and size, and can be removed with the × button.
3. Click Upload N files.

Nothing is uploaded until you confirm, so you can stage a batch and prune it first. Files upload one at a time with a progress toast, and the grid refreshes when the batch finishes.

• Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, WEBP
• Maximum size: 10 MB per file

Find an asset

The filter bar above the grid has four controls:

• Search — matches on file name, with a short debounce. Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux) from anywhere on the page to jump into the field, and use the × button to clear it.
• Type — All, PNG, JPG, or WEBP. Each button carries the number of assets of that type.
• Sort — newest or oldest first, name A–Z or Z–A, largest or smallest first.
• View — grid view. List view is not available yet.

Changing a filter or sort returns you to the first page and clears the current selection.

The footer paginates the results and lets you show 5, 10, 25, or 50 assets per page. The page and page size are kept in the URL, so a filtered view can be bookmarked or shared.

Select assets

Clicking an asset selects just that one and shows its details in the right-hand panel. To select several, hold ⌘/Ctrl or Shift while clicking, or use the checkbox in the corner of each tile.

With at least one asset selected, the selection toolbar offers Download, Copy URLs, and Delete, plus Clear selection. Copying with several assets selected puts one URL per line on your clipboard.

Asset details

The panel on the right reflects the current selection:

• Nothing selected — a placeholder prompting you to pick an asset.
• One asset — a preview plus filename, type, size, dimensions, upload date, and the CDN URL, with Download, Copy URL, and Rename actions.
• Several assets — the selected count, with Download selected and Copy asset URLs.

Delete lives in the Danger Zone at the bottom of the panel.

Rename an asset

Select a single asset and choose Rename. The name is a display label used in the library and in search — it is not part of the stored file path, so renaming never changes the asset's CDN URL and never breaks pages that already reference it.

Names must be unique within your organization and at most 255 characters. If someone else changed the asset while your dialog was open, the rename is rejected and the dialog stays open with your text intact so you can refresh and retry.

Delete assets

Select one or more assets and click Delete, then confirm. Deletes are soft: the assets disappear from the library, and an Undo toast gives you 30 seconds to bring them back. Once that window passes the undo no longer applies. Up to 50 assets can be deleted in one action.

Deleting does not rewrite pages that already point at an asset, so check where an image is used before removing it.
